Looking for a gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free ice cream?
Finding delicious desserts that are gluten-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free can be quite a challenge. However, when I stumbled upon a dessert recipe that fulfilled all these criteria, I knew I had to give it a try. And let me tell you, it exceeded all expectations! This dessert has quickly become a favorite among my family members, including the ones who despise bananas (yes, you read that right!). We love it so much that we’ve even enjoyed it for breakfast.
Nutrition is a vital aspect of our overall well-being, and it’s fascinating how our eating habits can impact our body. Did you know a person’s foot can reveal a lot about their diet? For instance, if someone consumes processed foods, or excessive amounts of meat or gluten, the bottom. of their foot might appear flat and firm. I often hear people saying, “Well, that’s just the way my feet are,” or “My arches have dropped.” But let me assure you, these signs provide valuable clues about the body’s digestive system and its state of health.
Interestingly, I’ve witnessed individuals who used to make those exact statements experience incredible transformations in their feet after choosing to alter their diet. By incorporating more fruits and vegetables, detoxifying their liver, and nourishing their digestive system with nutrient-rich foods, they observed significant changes in their feet and their overall well-being.
Enjoy this guilt-free dessert and indulge in the goodness of homemade Nice Cream while nourishing your body and experiencing the positive changes in your health (and your feet too)!
Nice Cream
Ingredients
• 6 ripe bananas (frozen)
• 4 pitted dates
• 1 apple (cored and roughly chopped)
• ½ cup water
• ½ tsp vanilla extract
• Optional: ½ cup of your favorite fruits (such as mangos, cherries, blueberries or 2 tablespoons of cacao powder and raspberries.) In the picture above I used blueberries.
Instructions:
1. In a food processor or high-speed blender, blend all the ingredients together, using the pulsing function as needed. Start by adding the dates first, as they tend to blend more easily.
2. Continue blending until everything is thoroughly mixed. If you find the consistency too soft, you can place the mixture in the freezer for approximately 30 minutes. Personally, I often skip this step since I own a Vita-Mix and don’t mind if my ice cream is a bit softer.
3. Don’t forget to freeze your bananas the night before, so they’re ready for this delicious dessert.
4. Finally, it’s time to indulge!
Serve and enjoy your delectable gluten-free, dairy-free, and sugar-free treat. I hope you relish every spoonful of this delightful dessert. Remember, taking care of your nutrition can have a profound impact on your overall health, and finding healthier alternatives doesn’t mean compromising on taste. Enjoy!
