Homemade magnesium lotion and its many benefits

For years, I struggled with low minerals and its many symptoms: thyroid issues, muscle cramps, insomnia, fatigue, and anxiety. That’s when I discovered magnesium chloride and its amazing benefits! I can’t wait to share the magic with you! And I’m not the only one loving it—my girls are on board too! After their drill team practice or any sporting activity they can’t get enough of the magnesium goodness. Say goodbye to sore muscles and hello to post-workout bliss!

Soaking in magnesium baths and using magnesium lotion has been a game-changer for my girls and me. I’ve noticed my muscle flexibility has improved, my body is healthier, and muscle pain has dimensioned significantly. Did you know the best way to absorb magensium in is through the skin?  Applying the lotion to the skin and the feet really helps the body uptake magnesium efficiently.  The results I’ve seen have been incredible!

Other symptoms of low magnesium include muscle aches, low thyroid function, leg cramps, anxiety, trouble sleeping, asthma, arthritis, and kidney stones. No worries, though, we’ve got this! Let’s give our bodies the love they deserve.

DIY Magnesium Body Lotion recipe! You won’t believe how easy it is:

Ingredients

10 T of Shea Butter

6 T of coconut oil

1/3 cup of magnesium oil (Living the Good Life Naturally is the one I prefer).

*In the video I made my own using Ancient Minerals Magnesium flakes: 1/3 c distilled water, 1/3 c magnesium flakes. Warm to dissolve.

Instructions: melt the shea butter and coconut oil using the double boiler method, then cool it down in a glass bowl. Once it’s cool to the touch, add that magnesium oil and mix it all up. Pop it in the fridge for about 30-60 minutes until it’s nice and firm, then grab your hand mixer and whip it up! Transfer it into airtight jars and you’re all set.

Just a heads up: store the ones you aren’t using in the refrigerator.

Remember, consistency is key! Your body will thank you for it.
